* The investment portfolio is directed and managed by the Union County Foundation’s Investment Committee. The investment strategy is one that uses a moderately conservative allocation model consistent with allocations applied by community foundations throughout the country as reported by data collected and disseminated by the National Council on Foundations. The investment strategy makes full use of index funds thus avoiding outside investment advisor fees. Current policy permits internal portfolio management through $5,000,000 asset levels.
