A note from the Union County Foundation: One of the missions of The Union County Foundation is to be a voice in keeping the county focused
on those characteristics that make this a place where businesses want to locate, where families choose to raise their children and where people are proud to live.
We are fortunate in so many ways not withstanding the difficult economic times. We believe if we don’t recognize and cultivate those characteristics that make our County unique that we could
unwittingly fall into mediocrity.
We all need to be reminded about these characteristics, so the Foundation is beginning a series of messages which
hopefully you will find not just interesting but also inspiring. The following article is the first in this series.
